What forms of payment do you accept?
For internet orders you can pay by any of the major credit cards (Visa, Master card, American Express, Discover) or by Pay Pal to "info@ultrathin.com". For mail orders we also accept checks or money orders.

Are your ribbons / medals approved for wear by my service?
Yes. Our ribbons and medals are made from government approved materials by the same companies that sell to the government under the strictest standards. We have provided ribbons for every service to individuals from recruits to the highest officers.

How can I place an order?
You can construct and view your set online with the rackbuilder on this site. You are also welcome to phone, email, fax or mail your order. You can also special order UltraThin ribbons in Navy Exchanges (NEX) and select Army/Air Force Exchanges (AAFES).

Must I use the online system to order?
If you prefer you can email us a list of your awards either created by you or given to you by your personnel office. A pricing calculator is available to assist you.

Do you guarantee your products?
100% If you are unhappy with our products or service for any reason return them to us for a prompt and courteous repayment.

Can the devices on my ribbons be updated?
Yes, if you have a ribbon set that you need to add another device to we offer that service. Details

Can you add my new ribbon to my existing set?
In many cases, yes. Assuming your set was made by us, and is not overly old so as to be worn and faded so that a new ribbon would look out of place. The cost varies by the number of ribbons in your current set and where the new ribbon will fall in precedence. More Info here .

How long does it take to get my order?
This will vary based upon several factors. In general we require your order to be here for approximately 7 days in order to hand-craft your awards to the quality standards we have and you expect. Based upon demand (see next FAQ), this 7 days could be longer or shorter. Added to production time will be the shipping that you choose at checkout. Obviously Express will arrive faster than Priority and the distance from our location in Oklahoma to you must be considered. The choice is yours whether to pay the additional amount for quicker transit times.

Why does it take longer or shorter times to process an order?
Certain periods of the year or world events extend the time required to process an order. Factors increasing time can be as obvious as the issuance of a new decoration to everyone on active duty; or as regular as the Military Balls in the Fall. At times there are fewer people buying new ribbons because of holidays or PCS timing, in this case production time will be shorter. If you have particular needs please note this in the comments and/or contact us by phone or email.

Can I pay more for faster service?
Obviously you can choose a faster or slower shipping time, but we don't allow buying your way to the front of the production line. By necessity, every person that buys their way to the front of the line pushes the person that ordered sooner down a position. We just don't think this is fair to the person that planned ahead.

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
Of course. We can ship to any overseas address that can accept priority or express mail. There are some locations where express mail is not supported, but priority is available at all locations.

Do you carry state guard ribbons?
We are committed to serving every person who wears a uniform. We have most state guard ribbons, but with over 900 of them we don't have each and every one yet. Unfortunately many of the states use proprietary sources which makes it difficult for us to find a stock. The best advice at this point is to phone or email about the availability of the ribbons you need. Please be specific; "Do you have Wyoming ribbons?" is quite a different question than "do you have the Wyoming long service medal".

Can I order at your location?
Absolutely. If you are in Oklahoma and want to drop by, we'll be happy to take your order and you can also see the numerous items that we have which are not yet on the web site.
